QUICKTELLER

OVERVIEW

Quickteller is a multi-channel payment platform that enables users to pay bills, transfer funds, purchase airtime, access credit services, and manage everyday transactions directly from their mobile devices. Serving a large and diverse user base across Nigeria, the platform connects users with over 8,000 billers and plays an important role in improving financial accessibility and convenience.

CHALLANGE

One of the biggest challenges in designing Quickteller was creating an experience that worked for a wide range of users with different levels of digital and financial knowledge. Since users rely on the app for important tasks like bill payments, money transfers, and airtime purchases, the experience needed to feel trustworthy, reliable, and easy to use. Many of these actions are performed frequently, so it was important to keep them simple and fast. The goal was to design a mobile app that brought multiple payment services into one place while making everyday transactions intuitive, convenient, and accessible for all users.

MY ROLE

I contributed to the design of the Quickteller mobile application, helping create a simple and reliable payment experience for users. My work included user research, persona creation, wireframing, mobile UI design, prototyping, and collaborating with product managers and developers to ensure the final solution met both user and business needs.

OUTCOME

Delivered mobile UI designs and interactive prototypes that supported Quickteller's goal of making digital payments fast, simple, and accessible for users across Nigeria. The project helped create a more streamlined payment experience by improving the clarity of common financial tasks, establishing consistent UI patterns across key transaction flows, and enhancing overall usability within the mobile application.
